Feb 29 update

-March 1 is tomorrow. So that means there should be a lot of movement in rosters today in order to make the 30 man roster's due tomorrow. I will keep posted on movement within the Fire and throughout the league today.

-Last night FC Dallas played Orlando City in the Disney Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando. Orlando's goalkeeper received a red card in the fourth minute of the match for a challenge in the box. Dallas was awarded a penalty kick on the red card and David Ferreira converted. This was a omen of things to come. FC Dallas controlled the match from end to end and finished with a 4-0 win.

-In the early match of the Disney Pro Soccer Classic, Toronto FC played BK Hacken. Toronto secured a victory scoring two goals in the last five minutes of the match. Before that the match was not the most exciting. Toronto scored a goal at the closing of the first half off of a Ryan Johnson volley. Hacken scored their only goal of a pk at the beginning of the second half.

-Today there are 6 matches to watch. It is exciting to finally get all of these broadcast. (all times are CST)
1. Sporting KC v Vancouver  5pm   MLSsoccer.com
2. Chicago v COWlumbus  4pm  Chicago-fire.com
3. New England v Real Salt Lake  7pm  MLSsoccer.com
4. DC v Charleston  6:15  DCUnited.com
5. Houston v Montreal  7pm  MLSsoccer.com
6. LA v New York  9pm  MLSsoccer.com

-Today my beloved Fire play against the Crew. I understand it is preseason and our roster is decimated by call-ups. With these considered, I still cannot find a loss an acceptable result. Chicago needs to get a result today. Losing is not something that we want to get used to. Ultimately this game doesn't matter, but it would be nice to beat those guys.

-Worst finisher ever!

-I will update throughout the day
